STEFF THOMAS
PT & SOFT TISSUE REHAB INTERN

Steff is a 20-year-old student at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where he is studying Strength Conditioning, Rehabilitation, and Massage. Growing up on a beef and sheep farm in a small town in West Wales, he developed a strong work ethic, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

His passion for sports rehabilitation and conditioning began after a significant injury—a broken femur sustained during a football match. The rehabilitation journey that followed proved transformative, showing him firsthand the impact of structured recovery and care. This experience sparked his interest in sports rehab, and since then, he has dedicated himself to learning how to optimise recovery and performance for athletes.

An avid sportsman, particularly in football and golf, Steff understands the demands and challenges that come with sports injuries. His personal experiences with these injuries have deepened his appreciation for the value of rehabilitation, strength and conditioning (S&C), and massage in helping athletes return to their peak.

He is excited to bring his dedication and growing expertise to his internship at The Tuning Room, where he looks forward to working with a professional team to help clients reach their health and performance goals.
